In the spring of 2018, TAN-VIET International S.A., in cooperation with a renowned restaurateur and master of cuisine, Michel Moran and Polish bloggers, created the "Mapa Smaków" ("Map of Flavours"), tv programme full of culinary and travel inspirations.
Michel Moran took the audience on a culinary journey through Vietnam. He visited twelve cities in search of real tastes of Asian cuisine and introduced the audience to culinary symbols and the legacy of colonialism in Vietnam. He checked what rivers and seas taste like and whether Vietnam is really a country of rice, tea and coffee, proving that it can be a paradise not only for tourists but also for vegetarians. Together with the locals, he visited fairs and his favourite bars to see what and how the locals eat in this region of the world.
After returning to Poland, together with the invited guests, he presented in each episode recipes combining flavours typical for Vietnam with Poland's favourite dishes. Therefore, he invited leading Polish bloggers to his studio, who together prepared traditional Polish dishes with a note of Orient.
However, this is not the end of the journey. Those interested in an original and tasty dose of culinary inspiration from Michel Moran still have a chance to repeat their trip to Vietnam. All eight episodes of the "Mapa Smaków" and additional articles and curiosities are available at mapasmakow.onet.pl.
